Alice Astafan, Associate
Alice Astafan is the Chief Executive Officer of
The Federal Technology Center
(The FTC) located in North Highlands, California. The FTC is a not-for-profit,
public benefit California Corporation dedicated to federal technology transfer
and economic development in the Sacramento region. Incorporated in 1995, their
mission is to be the scientific and educational bridge between public technology
resources, small businesses and academic institutions. She currently serves as Chair, Eskaton Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing services and benefits for senior citizens. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Medical Foundation, Eskaton Corporation, Sacramento Counseling Center, and the Patrick Astafan Memorial Foundation. She has also worked as a volunteer Director of Children's Education for more than 20 years. In the past she served as the military liaison to the Secretary of Defense's Advisory Committee on Women in the Military Service (DACOWITS). Education:
